On July 20th on the Terrace of the Caracciolo Castle of Sammichele di Bari there will be a WELCOME party in which LIVIA MILES, teacher of Mediterranean folklore, will involve us in a special party, of joy, music and heart.
Tango lessons
Intensive course! TEN HOURS with Maestro YATMA DIALLO and local instructors. July 23rd-25th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, lessons on the practical fundamentals that will make you discover and fall in love with the music, dance and spirit of Tango. The teaching will be in English, but we will have someone to translate into Italian, if necessary.
For in-depth studies, for those who already know Argentine Tango, during the InTango Festivalito (July 23rd-25th) it will be possible to study with OSVALDO ROLDAN and ANNA MARIA FERRARA. The teaching will be in Italian and Argentine, but we will have someone to translate into English, if necessary.
The teachers will be available in the morning for private lessons (cost non included in the package)
YATMA DIALLO – with us July 20rd-25th
Yatma Diallo lives and teaches Argentine Tango in Milan (Italy) from where he moves to various Encuentros, Festivals and Milongas all over the world as a teacher, musicalizzador (tdj) and performer. The tango he loves is the Tango of the Embrace, the Tango of emotion, beauty, roots, tradition. “Uproot yourself and find yourself in a milonguero embrace”, says Yatma. His energy and passion for Argentine Tango have led him to study every aspect of tango culture, in fact he is a passionate and devotee of the music of the golden age which he combines giving the dancers on the dance floor rhythm and melody, intimacy and lightness. Tango & Holiday PROGRAM
20th July – Arrival in the afternoon in Sammichele di Bari. Accommodation in reserved rooms at Hotel Esperia. In the evening abundant Apericena (aperitif including a buffet or a plate of pizzette, sandwiches or more filling snacks) & Mediterranean folk dance and music in the suggestive setting of the Terrace of the Caracciolo Castle.
21st July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by train to Bari, the provincial capital. We will meet the guide and head towards the historic center. Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice on site and return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon first Argentine Tango lessons from 4 pm to 6 pm with YATMA DIALLO and local instructors. Dinner at a typical trattoria in Sammichele di Bari. Walk in the historic center.
22nd July – Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by train to Castellana Grotte. We reach the famous caves for a spectacular itinerary. Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice and return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon Argentine Tango lessons from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening, dinner in a typical pizzeria.
23rd July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private bus for Gravina in Puglia. Meeting with the guide and visit of the city, including underground Gravina.
Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice. Return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon Argentine tango lesson from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening dinner in a typical Pizzeria and participation in the opening evening of the 3rd Edition of InTango Festivalito in the Borgo of Sammichele di Bari.
24th July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by train for Alberobello. Visit to the City of the Trulli and lunch of your choice at a location of your choice. Return to Sammichele di Bari by train. In the afternoon Argentine tango lessons from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening, participation in the 2nd evening of InTango Festivalito.
25th July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private bus for Polignano a Mare with a visit to the ancient city built close to the sea. Fish-based lunch in a typical trattoria in Mola di Bari. Return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon, Argentine tango lesson from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening dinner at the hotel and free participation in the 3rd evening of InTango Festivalito.
26th July – GOODBYE – with good memories and a great desire to return!
The nearest airport to Sammichele di Bari is the Bari airport. We are waiting for you for the Apericena (rich aperitif) on July 20, 2025 at 7 pm. At Bari airport there are trains and buses that take you to Bari Central Station where you will take the train to Sammichele di Bari. Train and bus tickets are included in the package and you will receive them by email after your registration.

Since we care a lot about the EVEN BALANCE OF LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS IN THE ARGENTINE TANGO LESSONS, it is important to know if you are coming alone or as a couple. COST of the TANGO & HOLIDAY in Puglia
First of all we want to tell you that our choice was to stay together in the same hotel where we can also give lessons and from which we can walk to reach the village of Sammichele di Bari, home of InTango Festivalito. It is a 2 star hotel, therefore not expansive, but it has all the services you need. The rooms have bathroom, wifi, TV and air conditioning, and you will always have a half-board treatment and Mediterranean breakfast with cappuccino/coffee and croissant (brioche) and in addition you will also find some savoury food. The trips to the chosen locations will be organised so as to move as a group, while maintaining freedom of movement and never losing contact with each other.

The TOTAL COST PER PERSON for Tango & Holiday in Puglia varies depending on the room arrangement:
- Double room: € 800
- Triple room: € 750
The cost of a single room is €870, but the reservation must be made on request only using the CONTACT FORM that you will find at the end of this page or in CONTACT menu at the top. There is a limited number of single rooms and they are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. We will let you know their availability. You will receive a confirmation email from us, and only after we have been able to confirm a single room for you, can you pay the booking fee 261 € by bank transfer.
BOOKING FEE PER PERSON is 30% and must be paid at the time of booking:

- Triple room accommodation: € 225
The fee for SIX (6) nights includes FIVE (5) days of program with the welcome Apericena. The package includes half board (breakfast and one lunch or one dinner per day, including drinks), Tango lessons, evening Milongas, guided tours, train or bus travel between Sammichele di Bari and Bari, and accident insurance.
The fee DOES NOT include AIR TRAVEL and anything not expressly specified in the Tango & Holiday in Puglia Program.
